This class 1 trailer hitch and ball mount combination is designed for a custom fit on select years of the Chrysler 200 and Dodge Avenger (see application info to verify fitment). The hitch integrates with the vehicle's frame and provides a useful and dependable 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" receiver. The receiver is perfect for attaching the included ball mount and towing a small trailer, or for adding cargo space with a hitch-mounted cargo carrier, bike rack or other accessory. This particular class 1 hitch is rated for 2,000 pounds gross trailer weight and 200 pounds tongue weight (never exceed the lowest-rated towing component). The ball mount included with this trailer hitch quickly and easily installs into the hitch receiver and has a 3/4" trailer ball hole (trailer ball not included). It can be mounted in the rise or drop position to promote level towing. Like all CURT custom hitches, this class 1 hitch is protected with our co-cured finishing process. It is descaled for a smooth surface, immersed in liquid A-coat for rust resistance inside and out, covered with a durable black powder coat and finally co-cured for an industry-leading rust, chip and UV-resistant shield. Good Value for the money. Seems durable. Works great for bike racks or pulling a small trailer. Installation wasn't too difficult with the help of a friend.

Normally heavy item are poorly packageed and box tears and item fall out, this was well packed, no items were miossing, and it fit perfect on the car and was easy to install, and works greatCurt is a good compant and they make quality products

I got this used so it was missing a couple bolts, but nothing Home Depot couldn't solve and it was a great deal. Like other reviewers, I just ran the 4 bolts through the frame, no need to fish the bolt inside the frame. Simple to install , sturdy hitch, I recommend it.

I've installed a number of hitch receivers over the years. This was the easiest of all. I have a single exhaust. It might be a little harder with dual exhaust. Anyway, for the 4-door 2014 Chrysler 200 I have, Curt recommends fishing the short supplied bolts through the frame. I went to the hardware store and bought two 1/2" bolts of the same length as the longer bolts supplied which made the install much easier, given all four mounting bolts can go through the frame (frame is pre-drilled). No fishing required. If you do this used the heavy rectangle washers to add support and stack 2-3 round, 1/2" galvanized washers on the other side. I also used two nuts on each bolt (torque against each other) to lock them in place. This is a class 2 hitch meaning 3500# or less trailer weight, but the car is rated at 1000#. I never exceed 1200#. So beware. My comments and mounting technique takes these details seriously. Know your tow!!Otherwise, it's a Curt. As good as DrawTite, etc. Price was as good as Etrailer.com.

To me it was pretty easy to mount it... But then again I'm a mechanic.. you really have to follow the instructions and be patient..

Package Arrived with the white box in the picture that I am assuming would be holding the Nuts and Bolts has nothing inside it wasnt even closed it was shredded open, the reciever hitch is already beginning to corrode! Now i dont mind if its a scratch its a hitch but its already beginning to corrode and its has not even touched the trailer yet.

Haven't towed anything with it yet but I can comment on the install. Install was easy... once I switched out them short bolts they want you to fish thru the frame. Seemed ridiculous to fish when the bolts holes go all the way thru the frame. So took like 15 mins and good to go.

Easy instructions ... Mounted quick, however will likely weld stronger chain loops (they're a little chincy, even for a class I).
