CURT custom wiring provides everything you need to connect your vehicle's electrical system to a trailer. With plug-and-play connectors, a custom wiring harness easily integrates with your vehicle taillights to provide a standard trailer wiring connector, typically in the form of a 4-way flat. It uses OEM-compatible connectors to "T" into the vehicle's taillight assembly and provides a standard 4-way flat output to power the taillights, brake lights and turn signals on your trailer. To complete this custom wiring harness, it comes with a rubber dust cover. This cover keeps the connection points clean and well protected when the connector is not in use. This Curt loaded ball mount features a gross trailer weight capacity of 7,500 lbs. and a tongue weight capacity of 750 lbs. Both pins keep getting stuck. After driving with the mobility scooter on it, I guess something shifts & the locking pin gets stuck. I have to shimmy the gate to get the pin to come out. Then when I fold the gate up, the pin again won't go in smoothly. We have adjusted it several times so that the pin who'll go in & out easily but again, after driving with the mobility scooter on it, something shifts causing the pin to stick again. I now have to carry tools to make on the spot adjustments.
