Bought for my 2014 Mitsubishi RVR. Installation was pretty easy, and I'm not very mechanicaly minded. The instructions that came with it were a bit murky, but once I crawled under my car and held the hitch up where it was supposed to go, it was pretty straight forward. A couple bolts were pretty awkward to get to, but not bad. All in all, took me about an hour, just laying on my back in the dirt with no special tools. And it looks great!

wow, I could not be happier with this trailer hitch. Not only did it fit my specific installation, but the tolerances were exact. The unit mated up to the vehicle with just enough clearance to allow the hardware to be installed and had no gaps or misalignment at all. The instructions were clear ( written in English by a native speaker) and concise. I was able to install this unit by myself with just basic hand tools and a torque wrench on loan from the local auto parts store. The hitch sits close to the bumper cover without distorting the plastic in any way and has a very nice low profile. It has a very heavy dutyconstruction and the steel is multiple times thicker than the factory tow loop that has to be removed to allow installation.

This receiver hitch was very easy to install and felt incredibly solid on the vehicle. It will hold my Yakima bike rack 99% of the time but I wouldn't hesitate a tow with it within the specified payload and tongue weight limitations. I didn't have a torque wrench and wasn't going to pay $80 for one that I'd use maybe once every five years. I just torqued everything down really well and will check the nuts and bolts again in about a month.Be very careful during installation or wear some good mechanic gloves. The heat shielding near the areas you need to reach your hands and arms is very sharp. Fortunately, I noticed this and avoided cutting myself.

the receiver hitch was very easy to install, Total time from prep to installation was about 1/2 hour. I bought this hitch to carry our bikes. The one thing I did not care for was the pin, but I had a bolt used on my other receiver on my other car that works to hold rack in place with no wobble.Price was very reasonable good quality. Shopping Amazon is so easy , do your home work and read reviews, best way to make your choice.I would have given this rating a 5 star if it was not for the Pin, Other than that very pleased.

Not bad at all for the price. I had a little trouble installing it but not because of the product but because how my 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport was manufactured and very tight work area to get your wrench around. Fyi this product has a 1 1/4 inch port and there's not many accessories that fit it so you will need to get a 1 1/4 inch to 2 inch adapter. I'm using mine as a bicycle carrier so I had to buy the adapter. In conclusion this was worth the price and the quality is great.

Installed on 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. Very pleased with the look. All hardware was included. I was able to install by myself. The drivers side was a little difficult to thread due to the available space under the car, but it was manageable. I like that the hitch is not lower than the tailpipe. I'm using it for a bike rack, much easier to deal with than the roof rack.
