Great fit, well made, easy installation. Came with everything needed to install. Only issue, on my 2011 xD the trimming measurements for the rear plastic cover was off by 1/4". Easy fix and not an issue at all.

Easy to install...took me about 30-40 minutes. I ended up asking my neighbor to come help me hold it while I put in the first couple of bolts because it's kind of heavy to keep in place alone. After that, I finished it up myself. Super easy installation - pretty intuitive even without the directions. I had to add two washers to each side on one of the bolts because the ones that came in the kit stopped threading too soon. Adding the 1/8" of washer space filled the gap just enough to fix this - no big deal. Overall, super quality and really easy to install. I chose to trim and put the little plastic guard thing back on over the hitch to give it a completely finished look. I assume you could just take the guard off and leave it off if you choose to.

This is the Only hitch made for our 2012 Scion Xd. Our bike rack is a 2", but with the Reese adapter, everything works perfect. Easy enough for one person to bolt on without lifting the car off the ground. Reading the furnished instructions did help, but basically unneeded. Give yourself 45 min to 1 hr, and don't tighten any of the 6 boltsuntil they are all in place. Have a rubber mallet handy too, it will help push into place. Good product, best price anywhere, ans super shipping direct from Curt. Very happy.

This item worked perfectly for my 2012 Scion XD. Install took 30 min with one guy helping me to hold it in place. Looks great and is very useful
