Delivery was good dispite being late. Box was a little ripped but hitch was in perfect condition. Installation was a little challenging but do able with an extra pair of hands. Grinding the openings was the toughest part. YouTube has several good videos. Fits perfect and looks great.

This is a great trailer hitch. Received with all required accessories and installation instructions. Fits nicely on the car.Packaging is not the best - arrived in a damaged box but the hitch was intact.

I am a reasonably handy guy and I have installed a Curt Hitch on another car. The instructions say it will take an amateur 60 minutes. Count on at least 2 hours. Watch the YouTube video done by UHaul. You don’t need an exhaust hanger removal tool. I used a short pry bar and silicon spray. I ran the rear of my Subaru Forester up on ramps to gave me about 8 more inches more clearance. Get a good quality step drill bit to expand the two frame holes. The fish wire for pulling the bolts thru the holes is brilliant. I used two large pails and wood blocks to get the hitch elevated and hold it in place so I could get the bolts thru the holes and get the nuts on. A big floor Jack may work too. Tip - clean the underside of your vehicle really well to get rid of mud otherwise it will continually rain down on you when you are working.

job d'installation d'environ 1h30.... mais j'ai passé 1h là-dessus à chercher mes outils et à répondre aux besoins des enfants. Ca fait un dossier vraiment pas cher.

The hitch arrived with two scratches down to bare metal around the thick lip where the ball mount goes in. There was nothing in the box to keep the hitch from rattling around. The hitch consequently tore a hole in the shipping box. Also, the hitch was filthy, with a thick layer of dust all over it. If not for these factors, it would be five stars.

Fits the 2019 Forester Sport. I wouldn't say this is an 'easy' install, but we did it with common tools (recommend a good drill & dremmel, as well as metal sealing spray paint) & took about 2 hours. We followed a video tutorial on YouTube vs the included instructions. We elected to remove the heat shield from the passanger side, drill holes in & replace it.Minor quibble on this - it is a 1.5 inch hitch, which not a lot of towing stuff uses, so I had to get an adapter for my cargo basket, which adds some length & wobble to it.Overall, much cheaper route than the dealer!

For the 2020 Subaru Forester, this installation requires cutting out 6 extra holes in your car. This is not an install the average guy can do at home. It cost me $160 (1 - 1/2 hours of labor) to have it installed. It is a very high quality hitch and I would recommend it. But if you are not the mechanical type with a lot of tools you will NOT be able to install this yourself.
