Looks great on my 2025 Subaru Outback. Installed ourselves. Took about 2 hours total for disassembly, install, and reassembly. Exactly what we needed. We did have to trim the bottom plastic trim piece on the bumper as it was hitting the hitch and not allowing the bumper to seat back into place, but was a quick fix and you cannot see the cuts.

This trailer hitch fits perfectly. Because of the shape it hangs a little lower than an OEM and requires less trimming of the rear bumper. Installation was straight forward and just like OEM hitch. Bumper removal was pretty simple, just like the videos I watched, and install was just like putting parts back in place. Fishing the bolts was easy with the supplied wires. Instructions even provided torque specs for the bolts. One more note, I did not need to remove the exhaust as there is enough flex in it all to easily get my socket on the bolt on that side

I watched several U-tube videos on installing this hitch. It was a little unnerving to take the bumper cover off my brand new Outback, but I finally determined to go for it.It wasn't too difficult to take the car apart and install the hitch. Putting the bumper cover back on was the touchiest part, but it snapped back on without any scratches. While it was apart I ran my harness wire and plug through a pre-drilled hole in the back of the car behind the bumper and mounted it next to the hitch on the underside of the bumper so it looks neat with no wires showing. The hitch itself seems to be very strong and is concealed except for the receiver lip. I will lose a couple inches of ground clearance with this hitch, but I'm not an off-roader so for me it's a non-issue.Doing the job myself I saved about $350 off the price quoted me by a local hitch installer. So if you're up to the challenge doing this yourself is a great money saver. It took me about 2 hours or so just taking my time. You will need a second pair of hands for some of the work.

Well made product that fit perfectly on my 2024 Outback (watch YouTube videos). The only advice I have is the muffler may seem to be on the way of reaching the nut on the back bolt. However, by using a 6 inch wobble extension and a universal joint socket, pushing the muffler slightly to the side (you may ask someone keep muffler pulled to the side) while torquing the bolt will alleviate the need to drop the muffler.

I have a 2024 Subaru outback and this fits perfectly. As others have said, the hardest part is just taking off the bumper and that really isn't all that difficult, just do as they say in the instructions and pull out the sides first and then the back. Once that is off, the only other thing that wasn't right was they said there would be 14mm bolts and 17mm bolts, I only have 14mm but that wasn't an issue. It took me about 1.5 hours all in and the longest part was pulling off the clips. The trick here is to only pull out the center circle about an 1/8 of an inch, if you pull it further that can cause the flaps on the inside to expand again making it harder to pull out.Definitely recommend this to anyone who feels comfortable working on cars.

As you can see the packaging was minimal but all the parts are there. Can't wait to get at it and install it on my OBW. Just waiting for the trailer light wiring harness and plug to arrive. I've watched eTrailers videos and Dabbling with Dans install of another similar style so I'm confident it'll go well.

I'm happy with the purchase and the final results with this trailer hitch installation. This was definitely the most difficult one I had ever installed over the years as for taking off bumper cover and the bumper support system just to install a trailer hitch but again, happy with the final results. Paperwork showed that the installation difficult rating was 10 of 10. That is spot on. I installed it in my garage so I had a clear, clean area to work and move around. I consider myself very mechical and it took me about 3.5 hours for start to finish. I would not suggest this specific trailer hitch if you have not worked on an auto or have any auto DIY experience. This is not a typical hold it up to the frame and put the bolts in and your done installation. Again, happy with my hitch!

Fast shipping and perfect fit for our 2022 Outback. The most difficult (tedious) part of this job are the plastic anchors and actual removal of the plastic bumper. Makes it way easier if you have an extra set of hands to help you for this step. There are some great video resources online that walk you through the step-by-step installation.
