I used to own a Hamer Standard and sold it years ago and I've always missed that guitar. I was shopping around to find another one and reluctantly I found that Hamer is no longer a business. So in efforts to find another guitar to it's likeness I looked at many other guitars. I finally found one with the same specs. A flat C shaped neck with jumbo frets and a solid mahogany body. I was surprised to find that the humbuckers sounded great on the Dean. I figured I'd have to buy a new set of humbuckers but I'm thoroughly impressed the sound quality. This guitar through an Orange micro terror is hot fire! If you are looking for a very well made neck through build with a fixed bridge then grab one of these. I will never sell this guitar!
