Replaced a Delta faucet with this one. Was able to screw old one off, and just screw this one on. Worked great!

We had this exact Delta down spout but had to hire a plumber to attach this replacement part because we did not have the blow torch to fit it to the pipe. $90 for the plumber. $113 for the part plus tax equals a $220 total just to get the shower to work again.

I would give it no stars if I could. Despite lower reviews of other products and this being made of plastic at a high price, I went with it to replace my existing Delta spout. Color was great, but no matter what parts my husband bought and after troubleshooting, it just wouldn't work. Also, we did not get around to replacing it until a week after return window date due to a hospital stay and personal life issues going on during that month. Now we are out approximately $160.00 due to return window closing and different nipple pieces and pip parts to try to make it work to be flush with the wall. Also, a plastic piece inside it broke while trying to make it work. Alot of money for nothing. I won't be buying a Delta product again.

I was hesitant to buy this product after reading some of the reviews. But we redid our shower head, handle, etc. however when we ordered this set it did not come with the faucet. We could not find one that matched what we had and that would fit. I was happy when I found this because Delta was the brand we had for the other tub fixings. A lot of the reviews were bad but the only other one that had the same threading was over $100 and really didn’t match well. So we took our chances. It came in today. It was very simple to install, my 12 year old could have done it. It’s pretty but it is plastic. It works great so far, no leaks yet. But I guess the plus side to plastic is no rust.

I purchased a showerhead set, but didn't realize I grabbed the wrong bx and it didn't have the tub faucet included. This matched great with our bronze shower head with handheld sprayer.
