The pool isn’t open yet, so my review will have to be for what I can see with my eye. It looks like it’s going to be fairly easy to move around the pool, I do have an oval shape though, so I’m not sure how well I will be able to get in the corners. It seems durable enough as my dog already tried to chew on it and nothing appears to be broken. I’m looking for a chance to use this and can see if it works like it’s supposed to, so far, I’m impressed.

This is a pretty decent manual pool vacuum. I haven't replaced my old one in many years, so it was time to do so. I like that this one has side brushes, which the old one did not. I can get in the cracks where the algae likes to hide and scrub it out. This vacuum head is made of more plastic parts than the old one, so I doubt it will hold up for as many years as my older one has, but everything today is more and more plastic, sadly. Since this one consists of more plastic parts and less metal ones, it does seem to have a little less weight to it. It wasn't floating at the bottom of the pool, but you could feel that it was lighter than the older style one. Overall, it's not a terrible buy at less than thirty dollars for a vacuum head that will do the job that you need done.

I needed to replace my pool vacuum head and I just wanted something simple and that would work well. This is a nice weighted vacuum with side brushes and wheels making it simple to vacuum. The price is right in the middle of others out there and the quality seems comparable to my last one. It is all made of plastic and as long as I don’t let it bake in the sun all summer, I imagine this vacuum will last as long if not longer than my last one, giving me years of clean pool floor. Simple and effective at a good price, what more can you ask for.

I thought that these would be relatively the same. But upon looking at the old one versus the new one I can see that there's more plastic and less brushes. I'm not sure how much cheaper they can get. It will still vacuum although not as well as the last one.

This brush is a good size, and appears to be good quality. Made of thick plastic, the wheels slide nice and easy. It's much better than the brush it replaced, and appears to be made really well made so I'm hoping it will last for a long time.

I have really struggled with pool cleaning method and tools. Our typical pool maintenance routine is performed by a little hayward automatic vacuum. But the problem is that, especially after a storm, there are just too many leaves floating on the surface and sunk to the bottom for the vacuum to capture. If I leave them, then they will without a doubt clog the machine and get wrapped around the impeller. If I rely on the pool to take care of itself, it could be three days before all the leaves are out, spiking our phosphates and making the pool water so much dirtier than necessary. While manually skimming the top surface of the pool isn't a big deal, trying to "scoop" all the leaves from the bottom is not an easy task and it's frankly pretty annoying. So I've been working on other options, and I'm really happy with this product as part of them. It's not complex, it's just a flat panel with a hole in the middle and wheels to glide around. You connect the central hole to your vacuum hose, and a little piece slides inside your pole. And that's it. I had to crank up the pressure on the vacuum hose (as opposed to the skimmer) but once I did, it was as easy as running a long vacuum. I'd run over the leaves, and after a pass or two of the bottom of the pool, they were all dealt with. I then dumped the basket, hooked the regular vacuum back up for the inevitable straggler or two, and called it a day. It was about 4 times faster a process even with switching things around than skimming the bottom. Even though it's definitely cheap-looking, and frankly isn't that complicated, it worked great, rolling smoothly along the surface, holding decent suction against the floor of the pool, and just eating leaves.
