Bought another bit at HD that failed after three 2 inch holes. This is much higher quality.

Only lasted 4 holes! Drilled this wall before with cheap masonry drills without a problem. Had 32 accurate holes to drill and thought I would buy a quality drill bit. Expected better from DEWALT!

Excellent for drilling holes for 1/2" lag anchors in cinder block.If you use the 1/2" bit as they suggest, many times you end up with a hole that is slightly too big.By using a 7/16" instead you can "waller" out the hole a little and get a nice tight fit for your lag anchors.Typical 5-star DeWalt quality that I have come to expect....
