Drilled several holes about six inches deep to install redhead anchors around the perimeter walls of a new house and this bit never slowed down, drilled the last one just as easy as the first, yes I recommend buying it..

This bit bores into concrete with ease. I drilled 25 4-5” holes into fully cured concrete, and the last hole went as quickly and easily as the first. I was actually startled at how fast it cut into the footings — almost as fast as drilling dense wood.Combined with a heavy-duty hammer drill, this bit works GREAT, and it doesn’t show any signs of wearing out yet.

I bought this bit just to make the concrete slab weaker before hammering it and to break in my makita rotary hammer. I drilled about 50 holes so far in 4-5 inch concrete. Did the job with no problem and does not look worn at all. For the price it was a great investment for me.

I use this bit when my core bit can't get through due to the depth of the cut or the type of material (rough aggregate instead of smoother cement). For what the tool is designed to do - it does very well. The cutter head holds it edge and cleans up nicely. I've made about 100 holes with the bit I use now and haven't had to sharpen it. Does a nice job.
