With a bathroom remodel on the horizon, I am going to have to replace a GFCI receptacle, so when I saw this DEWENWILS two pack come up, I thought I would give it a try. Normally for something like a GFCI receptacle that could be the device standing between you and death (or a painful shock at the very least), I tend to stick to name brands, but given that these DEWENWILS receptacles are UL listed, I figured I would take my chances. If these weren't UL listed, there's no way you'd catch me buying these. These receptacles are weather and tamper resistant (most building codes require tamper resistant receptacles these days), and they include the wall plates (but the wall plates are standard sized, not mid or oversized). Like all GFCI receptacles, the portion of this receptacle that resides inside the junction box is oversized--1-5/8" w x 2-11/16" h x 1-5/16" d, so make sure your junction box is big enough to fit this. The receptacle feels and looks like it's well made, and the ears/mounting tabs on it are of a thicker gauge metal than I see on most receptacles. I tested this with a GFCI receptacle tester and the GFCI function works as it should. Like all GFCI receptacles, there are two sets of hot/neutral terminals, one for the incoming line and one for the outgoing load. They are marked clearly, but unlike other GFCI receptacles I've used, this one doesn't have a warning label covering up the load terminals to make sure you don't wire it up incorrectly. If you know what you're doing, this isn't a concern; if you don't know what you're doing, then you shouldn't be messing around with electrical wiring. These receptacles are a solid value--the price for this two pack is the same price as a single GFCI receptacle at the big orange box store.

These are outlets, folks. Some of the most basic electrical devices. They are just metal-lined holes, with some screws to attach to some wire. They aren't going to hurt you just because they were made on a different continent. But to ease your troubles i made sure to thoroughly inspect them, then popped 3 of them into my walls, replacing the regular kind. And guess what? No drama, no magic smoke, just outlets that work.

I really wanted to like these DEWENWILS GFCI outlets, but I was disappointed. Out of the two that came in the pack, one of them trips immediately as soon as I turn on the power. I double-checked the wiring and even swapped it out with the other outlet, which worked fine in the same spot. That tells me the problem is with the first GFCI itself. It's frustrating to get a faulty product right out of the box. For something as important as electrical safety, I expected better quality control.

This is a perfect replacement for my old failing GFC outlet. Installation was fast and easy. The instructions seemed to show a different model GFC (one with two status lights) but besides that they were accurate on the wiring and install. All-in-all, these are great outlets that work perfectly and come in at a reasonable price. I would rate this as 4.5-stars and highly recommend them to others

I had a couple of old plugs that needed replacing in the garage. These worked perfectly. I tried the test and reset buttons after installing and they worked fine. They seem to be weather and tamper resistant, which is a nice feature. The company claims the plug completes a self test every 40 seconds, which seems to be true because the green light flashes red at about that frequency. So far so good, and it’s a good value for the price, as long as the quality holds up.

I recently installed the DEWENWILS 2 Pack 15 Amp GFCI Outlets in my bathroom and I couldn't be happier! The installation was quick and straightforward, with clear instructions and all the necessary hardware included—wallplates and screws were a nice bonus. The self-test feature gives me peace of mind, knowing the outlets are constantly checking themselves for proper operation. I also really appreciate the LED indicator—it’s a simple but effective way to verify functionality at a glance. The tamper-resistant design adds a great safety layer, especially with kids around, and the weather-resistant build makes it perfect for outdoor use. These outlets look clean and sleek once installed, and being UL listed adds an extra level of trust in their quality.Highly recommend these for anyone looking to upgrade or replace existing outlets safely and affordably!

The primary benefit of these outlets are their Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) functionality. They continuously monitor the electrical current and quickly cut off power if a ground fault is detected, preventing dangerous electrical shocks. The self-test feature is a plus, offering peace of mind by regularly verifying the GFCI mechanism is working correctly. The tamper-resistant design is a crucial safety feature, especially for homes with young children. It prevents them from inserting foreign objects into the outlets, reducing the risk of electrocution. The 'WR' designation makes these outlets suitable for outdoor installations, preventing moisture from damaging the internal components. This is crucial for outlets near pools, patios, or exterior access points. They are reasonably priced, comparable to other outlets of this quality. I am pleased with the order, and they will serve us well in the new rec room
