I found these to work fine. The quality appears to be on par with the mud rings that my local plumbing/electrical store stocks, but these might just a touch thinner and are priced lower. Standard switches and plugs fit in them just fine, even the décor dimmer type switches. I am installing a programmable digital timer switch on one side which is a bit larger than the dimmer type switches. As such I had to do a little trimming at two of the corners to fit the switch. Overall, I am happy with them though. At about $8 at the time of this review I consider them to be a great value.

Exact match to my existing Racco branded rings. Actually not using these for drywall, but in basement duplex switches and outlet boxes. Exactly as expected.
