Our GFCI devices automatically self-test periodically to ensure GFCI protection and continuous safety. In addition to being tested to the highest standards to help ensure safety, Eaton's GFCIs will deny power and prevent re-setting if the device is no longer able to provide safe, protected power. The built-in indicator lights provide quick notification of a tripped or “end of life” condition. Additionally, tamper resistant (TR) GFCIs feature a built-in UL listed safety shutter system that prevents the insertion of foreign objects into the receptacle openings.

The GFCI receptacle was very easy to install for the DIYs. Space issues added time to the installation. The receptacle design and color fit very nicely with our newly remodeled kitchen.

These are a matte/flat black, which is exactly what I was looking for color wise. Unfortunately, none of the ones I received worked. I tried GFCIs from two other brands (and this Eaton one) in two homes. The other brands worked fine while the Eaton did not thus ruling out any installation errors. Somehow these Eaton GFCIs are all faulty.
