This is probably not good enough to hold 250A unless youp lace the connector directly on one of the two inner lugs. It's just not thick enough, but at least it is copper.This will require a 17mm socket wrench to tighten the lugs, but I wouldn't go overboard just snugged up is fine.The main defect with this one is in the screw sizes. They cheaped out and used tiny screws with a washer to fasten the base down. They're woefully insufficient, probably the metric equiavlent of a #6 when they should have been a #10 or #12, but at least that's easily rectified.Overall, a good inexpensive bus bar for smaller projects. Don't count on 250A continuous.

feel very nice, very heavy duty. bigger than i expected, great for main distribution needs. good fit and finish. if i were rummaging in a store for a set, this would be what i would pick. this kind of stuff usually feels feather light and brittle, not these. these are the real deal.
