I needed to switch 24 volt DC current used in a heating application, and had trouble finding a thermal driven relay that could reliably handle thousands of cycles. I gave up on less hardy relays that aren't specifically rated for DC. This unit may be over kill, but I want to build a system that I don't have to mess with for decades. (I'm using this to control a hybrid solar PV DC/utility AC hot water heater, where the utility power is just for backup.) I don't expect this to fail any time soon. It's currently January of 2023. If it fails, I'll try to remember to come back and let you know.

I didn't use any rail system so if you click the mounts all the way out you can mount them with a small screw. So far they have worked as expected, very happy. The dials read C temp only so you have to do the math for F degree. I use it to regulate a heat lamp for a chicken hatchery and another one to regulate a fan on young chicks in the outside pen. I found the instruction simple and easy to wire up. I use 110 on the relay and 110 on the load. The temp switching can be use to turn on a lamp to heat up or turn on a fan to cool down depends how you set it.
