Self-locking clamp type crimping cover:
The input and output terminals of the dimmable 12V 60W driver are equipped with crimping caps with self-locking clips, which are used to securely fix the wiring and are not easy to fall off. Find the corresponding port and press firmly or open, then you will see the input terminal connected to the AC line L and the neutral line N. According to the output terminal on the product label, pay attention to the positive and negative poles.

Works with waterproof led strip lights for low voltage shower light applications. Installed 12 volt led lights in shower niche controlled by a 120 volt toggler wall light switch.

You can tell immediately from its build quality that this transformer will likely stay the course. It replaces a much cheaper transformer that burned-out within a year -- even though the total current draw from the bank of MR16 LED bulbs was well below its rated capacity. Lesson: not all transformers are created equal; some labelled "dimmable" maybe can't really deliver on the claim. Save yourself the annoyance/expense of having to re-wire a circuit. Pay a bit more upfront; buy a solid one like this the first time.

I wired my house for 12V LED lighting in each room using these supplies. I have purposely made the load less than half of the power capacity of each unit. What I'm finding is that some of these units shut down at about 12 to 15 Watts load, this is well below the rating of 60W on these unit. I have had to send back, or replace these units in order to get one that works. I would give five stars, but the hassle of having to get replacements for the ones that have failed, makes me reduce this rating. In addition to this, I have had two of these units fail completely. I seem to get nowhere with the support people at this company, as they seem to think that Voltage is the same a Wattage. I will be ditching these supplies and going with a US company that is more expensive but knows how to meet these specifications.

I installed two of these LED drivers during a retrofit to LED bulbs of my kitchen monorail lighting system. These drivers replaced two 300w magnetic transformers which were large, heavy and overkill once I'd gone away from halogen bulbs. These drivers wired in easily and have been flawlessly operating my set of dimmable lights. There's been no noise, the dimming works well and is limited by the LED bulbs' performance. Mine arrived with the terminal covers uninstalled and separately packaged, so I did not have the issue some other reviewers mention about initially removing the covers. The lights these drivers are connected to get used daily for hours at a time and these drivers have never gotten hot or shown any sign of flickering or impending failure. For the money, I don't think they can be beat.

Small enough to be tucked under the cabinet. Used for undercabinet lightning for my kitchen. Worked great! No noise, didn't get hot in my setup, not much delay on turning on, works with my dimmer on the 12v DC end. It just works!
