Even though there is no beater bar attachment the vacume is quite good. However, the plastic extension tube is very week and cracked shortly after using it a couple of times. I was able to reattach the tubeby use of a hose clamp but that should not have been necessary.

Had an old dirt devil and loved it probably 14 yes old. Hose got a hole in it so bought this one. It is so cheaply made the wheel with filter won't stay on, it gets very hot and whistles so loudly I'm afraid I'll go deaf. I hate it, wish I'd kept the old one.

It's great for a secondary vacuum, have one for downstairs and one at the cottage, wouldn't want it to be my full time vacuum but for the price I couldn't pass it up. Decent suction and canister size, light weight, easy to pull around, does the job if you don't want to lug around a full size vacuum.Not the best on thick carpets, but no vacuum of this type is, I wish the pole came as one piece, it's fallen apart a time or two, just have to push it together more tightly and it's not overly long (story of my life).It works but not perfect, for $80 what do you expect.
