this little thing is amazing, it’s very easy to use and has simple interface. i’m planning to buy a 5v charger to make sure i don’t damage the device, it states it on the box and in its small manual. initial thoughts are tht it seems really well made, the beep and vibration are the only modes i’m planning to use. i don’t entirely trust an amazon collar that offers shocking but that’s just me.my plan with this collar is to use it to aid my training of my year old giant puppy, he’s a gsd and can be very vocal. i really am hoping that i can use this function just to help redirect his attention to me when we come across other dogs. the collar itself seems really well made and i will definitely update weather this worked for me or not.please dont expect this collar to do the work for you, reward your dog when they are quiet or have their focus on you so they are not so confused.

Pros: quick and easy to charge, easy to adjust the levels, **** works TOO well (I'll get to the con of this)****, adjusting it to put on my pup is great, the sound works well, vibration works well, for some reason I didn't realize it had a shock options but that worked well (only had to use that 2 times)Now for the cons: It reacts to EVERY loud noise and I mean EVERY loud noise. My poor pup was sleeping when it went off because one of the kids was yelling outside and it picked up on the noise and shocked him. The first time it happened I took it off of him and just left it on the counter because I was afraid it would go off again. The SECOND time it went off was when I was yelling for my kids to come inside and wash up for dinner and that's when it went off on the counter and I figured out how sensitive it truly was.But I do have to say.... we had an older training collar that doesn't work but since my pup was zapped the one time - when I put the old non working collar on him he NO LONGER BARKS for fear it will go off again. As a whole, this collar works phenomenal and if it wasn't so sensitive to sound this would have gotten 5 stars because just that one situation of him unfortunately getting woken up out of a dead sleep by getting zapped - worked.Again, I don't recommend this if you have a loud household.

I have two Chiweenies that love to bark so I ordered one collar. At first, I thought the collar would fall off or it would be too bulky under his neck. It came fully charged and the battery lasts quite a long time. I didn't use the shock setting so I didn't bother to put those posts in.It definitely gets his attention and he stops barking immediately. My other dog barks at animals on TV and we are never allowed to watch any nature shows so, I ordered another one for her.This cuts down on a lot of stress in my life and I am so glad I got it

So when my dog was a puppy, we trained him using a collar much like this. It did have the shock feature which we didn't really want to use, but we did it once to show our stubborn boy we meant business. Once was all it took. Now whenever we put a collar like this on him, he immediately uses his inside voice. Which is great! Except when you are trying to test a bark collar. We took a trip with our newly adopted dog and stayed in a hotel with both pups. We were a little nervous about leaving them alone and were worried that they would be anxious at being separated from us in a strange place. I put the tried and true on the new girl, and gave Kudzu this one. Does it work? I still don't know! All I know is that the feeling of it against his neck is enough for him to behave himself.We will try it on new baby girl soon to see if it works the same magic on her.I chose this collar in particular because of it's USB C charging. We don't use a bark collar very often and keeping a supply of new specialty batteries on hand is a hassle when you are trying to pack for a trip for humans and pups. This simplifies things a bit when it comes to packing our four legged family's bag.I will update my review if we find out that Frolic is not as convinced as Kudzu by this spicy necklace.

Not able to use shock function as cannot screw pins in place as one is flat (seen in photo.) Your dog has to bark loud for it work. Little grunts or tiny barks the collar won’t activate. I have a German shepherd so they have to really bark loudly for it to work!! But when it does work the beep is loud enough for the dog to stop!

Our dog loves to try to give me heart attacks by barking as loud as it can out of nowhere when it’s completely silent in the house. Also when guests come over or if I open a door. I’m very hopeful this will help in training her. Nice info display, easy to read and change settings. Has seemed effective over the last several days as we’ve had many visitors and I have heard the beeping first warning. So far so good! Would recommend!
