I have tried several car seats for my small dogs and this is the first one that checks all the boxes. On the first use my dogs were comfortable enough to curl up and sleep. The seat is high enough that they can see out the window. Additionally, it is easy to install and stays put. I also liked how easy it is to put the dogs in the seat without hanging straps being in the way. The bonus is that it’s washable since my dogs get carsick sometimes. Some of the reviews said the sides get crushed so I will watch for that and update my review if needed. As of now I highly recommend this item.

I have purchased some of these pet dog seats in the past. In fact, this looked a lot like the ones that I've purchased previously (in terms of color and design). However, this one just felt a bit flimsy compared with those. It certainly works for how it was designed. It fits great in the backseat of the car. Our puppy found it very comfortable and enjoyed it as a bed too. However, this just didn't feel like the quality of other similar carrier-seats. It looks fine...but not quite as nice as our previous purchases. It just never shaped correctly once we unpackaged it. This is a decent dog car seat; however, I think that you can find better value for the money. It's not bad...but, for this price, you can find better quality that shapes correctly after you open it.

It is a little bigger for my 11 lb pup but enables her to be higher and see around her.

I say the dogs love this seat, that we're using as a doggie bed for the living room, but, the dogs also randomly sleep on the floor.Having said that, there usually is one of the three dogs chillin' in this, and they haven't dug holes through it yet, so it is sturdy and they do curl up in it a lot. I'll give it two thumbs up, because they've fussed at each other to get a turn lying in this bed.

My young standard poodle has decided that she wants a booster seat like her Pom-Chi brother. This is nothing more ridiculous than watching 56 lb dog sitting in a booster seat meant for 15 lb pup. I chose this booster seat to keep peace in the backseat.This booster seat is well constructed and sewn with high quality fabric. However, the base fabric which is non-skid, is so thin that it can be seen through. The entire cover can be unzipped for washing; however, I wonder how many washes the base fabric can survive without tearing. Perhaps the fabric is stronger than I think, that is entirely possible. Advancements in fabrics is constantly occurring.I was disappointed that the sides of the booster seat are not stiffer, like most smaller booster seats. I think the foam may deform quickly from the weight of a larger dog resting its head on the seat's side.Included are safety staps to keep the booster seat in place and straps used to tether the dog in the seat. These are important for security and safety and I always use them every time the dogs enjoy a car ride.If the base fabric were a bit thicker and the sides of the seat were more sturdy, I would have easily given this seat 5 stars. It is well sewn, has great safety features and is easily cleaned.

I have a very large kitty who doesn't mind being in his carrier on the way TO the veterinarians office, but absolutely howls to get out on the way home. And of course, when we finally get on our quiet suburban street and I let him out, the first thing he wants to do is get in my lap so he has a boost up to see out the window, no matter how unsafe this is. One of my friends who has the same type problem with his Pug, has one of these seats and it works out great for him, so I started looking for one for my kitty.When I found this one, it looked large and comfy - and it IS! Heck, even I wouldn't mind having such a cozy, cushy seat! It offers nice height, for the animal who wants to see out the window, but enough space that they can adjust themselves to get comfortable, or even sleep in on longer trips.It belts in securely (and easily!), by the seat belt and headrest , and come with a 'skid-proof' bottom so it doesn't slide around, so I feel safe putting my Fitzy-Baloo kitty in it, and it has the added bonus of a collar/harness strap to attach to his collar. We call it his feline seat belt.Kinda funny too, but when we take it out of the car, instead of leaving in the garage, we have to set it in the hallway, because it's so comfy he enjoys using it as his nap-bed!This seat is very, very well made, very cushy-cozy and gives me peace of mind for his safety and I would recommend it to anyone looking to let their cat or dog out of his carrier, but keeping them safe during car rides.

Worked perfectly for my two little Maltese dogs. They are 3-4 pounds each and could sit together in this safely. I could tell they were much happier in this than just loose in the car or in their travel kennels. Harnessed in, they were very secure as this has a place to slide the seat buckle through and a hook around the headrest. The egg-crate cushion is very comfy but supportive and my older dog, who struggles with arthritis, loved it. The sides and back are all cushioned as well; the whole thing is super soft but supportive. The fabric is soft but washable and it actually matches my upholstery in my vehicle quite well. This shipped basically flat but after a day it puffed up and is very solid and well-made. The photo without my dogs is right after I pulled it out of its packaging so you can see it was a bit crinkly but the one with my dogs shows how it appears after a day. We used this on vacation inside the rental home as a makeshift dog bed as well and they were quite cozy in it. It has a pretty good weight to it and it's definitely a quality item that is worth the price since safety for your fur babies is priceless.
