Absolutely love this doggy car seat. It’s easy to put together and gives an extra level of security when I’m driving with my dog. For reference, my dog is around 50 lbs and he can sit or lay down easily. We used to have the dog hammock for the back seat of the car and he wasn’t a huge fan since he would still slide around at times. He’s much more at ease when I buckle him in here.

Uses for a road trip with out 4 month old puppy. Sides are really flimsy if the seats aren't high enough to create some tension. Tried putting a bungie cord across the top on the way home from vacation but that didn't do much either.. Hopefully once he gets used to more road trips he'll understand to stay in there.

These were a great buy. Purchased 2, easy install, just unzip to let pet out. We have med. size dogs, was plenty of room for them to lay down. They enjoy their 12 trip in comfort.

Same as other reviewer; wish the side opening is fully unzipped. Just used it for a month, but the base seems to hold just okay.

I actually leave this in my back seat at all times. My dog is 85-90 lbs and this extends my back seat enough that he has plenty of room to lay down and move around. I use the seatbelt it comes with, attached to the back seat headrest, and it gives him the freedom to do what he wants but prevents him from moving into the front seat. The mesh at the front also prevents him from moving into the front and because it’s mesh he still gets the AC vents that are at the bottom of the center console in my car. This perfectly protects my Lexus RX backseat. I leave one side down for him to enter and exit. I like this much better than the hammock style.

This car seat has been wonderful for our Husky/Pyrenees mix. Not only does it protect our seats, but we also feel much safer having him in there and we can tell he is much more comfortable during longer car rides in it. It’s so easy to take out and set up when we switch it between our cars. We could probably use a bigger one as he is bigger now than he was when we purchased it, but he still fits at 65lbs!

This product is great! Wish I had known about this sooner. No dog hair nor dirty paw prints in the car and is also a separator between the dog and the baby in her car seat. Comes with a leash attached which came very handy one time when I forgot the leash at home!

My dog paces the back seat and gets both windows gross with his nose and leaves foot prints and dog hair EVERYWHERE in the car. It was so stressful taking him anywhere because he never lays down so any corner/turn/brake was awful because he would go flying because he was pacing. We bought this to try to confine him to one spot and also see if a more flat place to stand would help. We had to use the seat belt to the front seat vs the back seat to actually keep him IN the seat to prevent the pacing. Though he’s still annoying in the car, it’s much less distracting for the driver as he stays in his seat and isn’t constantly falling to the floor boards and scratching up everything in his wake. Will eventually get him a harness and actually seat belt later for an actually crash. Big fan, this made dog parks and taking him with us to family gatherings possible!

This Item is well made but not really for large dogs alright for short trips as they can only sit.
