I did not know that paw wax was a thing, but now that I do know that, I will never be without Rhino Wax Dog Paw Balm. I have a 3 year old Cane Corso and she is a fawn colored dog and when we moved to a desert environment, her paws were not used to the hot ground. There are also numerous foxtails in our area, wer have already had a problem with one working its way into the space between her toes. Since I have started using the Rhino Wax, she has not had a problem with anything getting between her toes. The paw balm is very pleasant smelling, but my dog is very sensitive and it did take her a few days to get used to having me apply the paw balm, but now she really likes it.

This kit is great for our dog's paws, and not just for the occasional trip to the beach, either. I already have a single tube of this beach wax, as well as some of the other balms made by this brand, so I know they are safe, easy to apply and effective. I was happy to find this two-pack that also includes a soft cloth that I can use to clean their paws before applying the wax when we are on the go. I also use it to apply the wax which I find easier (the dogs are very interested in the container, but they don't pay any attention at all to a cloth). This also helps keep the surface of the balm stick clean. I use this not only for the beach, but it is nice to apply in the mornings before the pups head out into the backyard. Part of the yard is soft grass, but there is a rough area farther back with bricks, paving stones, dirt, rocks and native plants including cacti. All of which can be rough on paws. I use the regular paw balm from Rhino Wax at night when our pups are all tired out. And I put socks on the their feet so they don't spend too much time trying to lick the product off. In the morning, when they are well-rested and feisty, it is a different story. At first it wasn't easy to get them to sit still long enough to put the wax on, but they are getting used to it. It is still hard to distract them so they don't lick it all off but if I spend a couple of minutes massaging it in, I trust most of the wax has been absorbed. Between using the regular balm and this wax, I have noticed a significant improvement in the condition of both dog's paws. They are no longer so dry and the cracking is definitely beginning to lessen, even after just a few applications. Each tube contains two ounces of balm, which will likely be enough to last through the entire summer.

❤️🦴This dog paw balm or wax is awesome. It is super easy and fast to apply. With the hotter months arriving we wanted to protect our miniature dachshunds’ paws. Made from a high quality and natural rhino wax. The wax is super moisturizing. Leaving their paws smooth and more comfortable. By far, our favorite feature, is that since it is natural, it is lick safe. The wax comes in tube that makes its application fast and easy. The container easily fits in a small bag or large pocket. This set comes with 2 containers of wax and a useful microfiber cloth. Environmental friendly ingredients. Some of the natural ingredients include beeswax, aloe vera, and coconut oil. Another feature that sets this brand apart from others is that the ingredients are easy to find and easy to read, as we do not use products without a clear description. We find the best time to apply this is shortly before going outside since they are distracted by nature and forget it’s there. Super happy. Would definitely highly recommend this awesome and safe set of dog paw balm. Overall, we are giving it’s versatility, high quality, natural and safe ingredients, and usefulness ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. 🦴❤️

This paw wax caught my eye - my 17 year old dog struggles with dry and cracked paw pads. In fact, one day during a bath, I freaked out…his pads started to come off!! I didn’t know that could happen and I was so scared.Luckily, paw pads are made of keratin, like our fingernails.. so they do regenerate.Still, I want to keep my guy’s pads in better shape so he doesn’t have that painful cracking.This wax comes in a super nice lil’ gift set.You get 2 big tubes (big enough to do XL sized paws easily!)You also get a little wiping cloth.My first thought was that this would be a really thoughtful gift for someone’s pup!Now the formula.. it’s great quality. No nasties or preservatives. Just nourishing ingredients to keep the keratin in tact.My guy doesn’t like having his paws handled, but this big sized stick makes it fast and easy to get the job done.He’s definitely having less cracking since we started using it.We live in the desert.. so even though they didn’t make a desert-specific wax, this one said it was good for abrasive surfaces, which describes this place perfectly. lol.

My wife ordered this so here are her comments:I ordered this for one of my dogs who tends to chew on her paws, especially during allergy season, and for our other elderly dog who has occasionally had dry, cracked paws. It comes very nicely packaged, with a small towel to wipe the excess balm off. These are like giant chapsticks! Very easy to apply to dog's paws and it sinks into the skin on their paw pads. I have not seen them licking their paws, but they could be doing it while I'm not watching. Their paws already look and feel better. So far, I really like this stuff.

First of all, the packaging on this product is so well thought out, eco-friendly, and so beautifully done it would make an excellent gift. On top of it, the product is great: the paw balm is so moisturizing and luxurious I may try it on my hands 🤭. The whole kit is gonna be great for outdoor days, whether on the beach or if we go somewhere cold, since paws are going to be protected and soothed from hot pavement/sand or cold. I really appreciate the care in making sure the packaging is recyclable. What a great product. You can see the care that went into making it.
