The downside is that my dogs still aren't crazy about grooming, but this is the first "big dog" trimmer that seems to really do what I want it to do. There are a few options for keeping things customized, and there's a fair bit of of power behind this motor. Definitely a game-changer.

I'm absolutely thrilled with this 2-in-1 Dog Paw Trimmer! As a pet parent to 3 small, fluffy dogs, grooming those delicate areas like paws, ears, and around the eyes has always been a challenge. This dog paw trimmer with nail grinder has been a game changer for grooming at home! It’s lightweight, cordless, and super easy to handle, even if your pup is a bit squirmy. The trimmer is gentle but effective, and the nail grinder is surprisingly quiet, which keeps my dog calm. I also love that it comes with different attachments, so I can use it for both paws and nails without needing separate tools. The battery life lasts plenty long for a full grooming session. Highly recommend if you want to save a trip to the groomer and do it yourself!

I love this trimmer/ grinder tool. The trimmer is perfect for shaping the fur around the feet of my Shelties which tends to get long and grinch-like. I tested the trimmer first by bumping the blade against my finger while it was on and it felt like a small bump, no sharpness at all... no chance of injury. I was actually surprised to see how much fur was actually growing on the bottom of the girls feet, covering the pad. It is something I never even thought about until I looked at the photos and description on their site. I am hoping that taking that fur off makes them more confident when walking on hard slippery floor surfaces now that I have exposed the pads underneath. It should allow better gripping.The grinder end has three ways to use it. The two that leave the cap on (twisting it to expose two different gap sizes) are for small animals like cats, but for dogs you have to pull the cap Completely Off so that the whole grinder wheel is exposed. When you do this, it is amazing the power, again without pain or stress for your pets, especially if you make someone else give them some love while you are working. They barely noticed me grinding away and it is honestly so much better than using the clippers, which I hate to admit have resulted in me nipping a vein once or twice. Their nails are black so it is very hard to tell where it is.I love the compact size, the power, the grooming options and mostly the fact that it is so safe. It charged up quickly and never ran out of power even after using it on two dogs. Great Product!
