This jacket is great! It goes on with a velcro fastener around her neck and another around her rib cage. The velcro fasteners are very long allowing the jacket to accommodate different size dogs. The jacket does not pull over her head. I place it on her back, fasten the neck strip, and then the ribcage strip. Very easy. There are no leg pieces to pull on or hinder her mobility. It is very, very nice to have a jacket that the dog willingly wears rather than fighting to get clothes over her head and/or her legs.I bought one size larger than the size chart for more coverage on her back. It works well and does not interfere or get soiled when she squats to eliminate. It cleans easily too which is needed if your dog wears it to a dog park or interacts with other dogs/animals that jump with muddy feet.

TRUE TO SIZE my dog is 86#. She had a deeep chest. Bought an XL. Fits her perfectly with extra room. I tend to have to get XL in everything for her (like harness) due to her chest. Keeps her warm during the cold. Got this when she was young and rebought it now that she’s out grown the other one. Will buy again when this one gives out. It lasts a long time as well.

I purchased this for my short haired dog, and she liked it a lot at first, but as winter went on, the fleece on the inside started to cause a static buildup, so every time my dog would move she would end up getting shocked. It really made me sad because it was keeping her so cozy and warm. It's super easy to put on, especially for dogs who don't like clothing on,or putting things over their head, because it has long straps with velcro to just wrap it around easily. I'm going to try to line it with a less staticky fabric, because it was keeping her so warm and she was just so happy with it. I was really bummed when the static charge started building up and she started yelping in pain because of it. If you don't have a staticky dry house then this could be perfect for you, it's one of the only things I don't like about this coat. It's a soft, fake suede fabric. They recommend you cut a hole on the top in order to fit it for a halter, which I did...it doesn’t continue to rip with use. The inner lining is a polyester sherpa. The problem I encountered with the sherpa is, if you go outside, any bushes or brambles that you go near will instantly stick to the sherpa, and it takes forever to pick it out. So this definitely would be recommended as an indoor coat, not for outdoor walks or play unless you're in the city and don't come upon any weeds or bushes. I ordered the XL for my pitbull-sized dog, but probably could have gone down a size because it's pretty loose on her.

This is a really good coat for coat weather. Size chart is accurate. The length covers her entire back. The strap under the belly is positioned in the center so nothing gets in the way of her doing her business.

Love, Love, Love this coat. I have a 22 lb short haired dog that gets chilled in the winter. We also run the A/C in the winter at 60°. He has some lighter weight coats we use the rest of the year. This thicker coat is perfect for winter! It's soft, made well, washes well, easy on/off. My hubby says he looks like a little lamb. I say he's warm and adorable!

I got an XL for my doberman who is 68 lbs and the fit seemed to be perfect. the fabric quality is super soft on both sides and nice and thick for warmth. It’s really easy to put on with the neck and waist Velcro straps. It’s super cute and it keeps her warm on our cold walks!
