It worked just okay. I have a golden doodle who mats easily around her ears. We have the dematting tool that larger, but I thought this would be better for her ears since it was smaller. It isnโt as sharp as what I currently use and more so got caught in her hair instead of cutting through.

I have a 125+ pound super shedder, Great Pyrenees and Golden Retriever mix, so Iโm always looking for products to help with grooming, especially items to remove his undercoat. This undercoat rake / comb is pretty basic and mid-quality, but it does work. I was able to get a ton of hair off him using it, but it did take longer than using my other rakes because this one is smaller than my other ones. Iโd say this would be better for a medium sized dog. So while it isnโt the highest quality or best rake out there, itโs not horrible and it does work.

For the most part, my dog has short hair. This brush didn't pick up much except for around her neck where her hair is longer. She definitely enjoys how it feels, but it's better suited for a dog with a longer coat of hair.

There is a large variation in grooming rakes and I feel like this is on the generic end. It adequately does the job of shedding out my Labrador Retrieverโs undercoat and it also works on helping shed out my horses. However, for $21.99 I would expect a more comfortable handle than the hard plastic one that this one has. Personally, I would look around for a grooming rake with better features if Iโm spending over $20 on one.

I will try to be as honest as possible because I depend on other people's reviews and feel I want to help the best I can: Seems to be well made. Works just as described. My dog liked it the first few times I tried it, so hoping that will continue. I Recommend. Good Luck.

I have an old de-matting brush that is what I presume we all have but this is definitely a better quality design.I'm very pleased with the handle and how it feels in my hand - you need confidence to use this if you are like me - my cat is older and her back gets matted as she can't really clean like she used too. This is sharp but also can't really hurt her either. I'm pleased with it.

Functional pet rake brush. Itโs a little pricey (just under $16) for the quality. It works on my 65lb Husky mix. She doesnโt have any matted fur, so I donโt know how it does at dematting. The rake itself is kind of small. It probably works the best on small fluffy dogs or cats.
