Internal plastic locking mechanism failed (I verified this by unscrewing the four screws to remove the cap and dumped out the broken pieces) while offloading my 17 ft. kayak. Product is junk! The failure resulted in scratches on my Jeep. I only used this product a dozen or so times before failure. I'm gonna buy similar from another manufacturer.

The idea and function were promising however the locking mechanism failed once the weight of the kayak was on the roller. This caused the kayak to fall and scratch my truck. I bought 2 and would not recommend them.

Worked only a few times and now rollers cannot be locked in place. Just flops down and lies flat on the window. Tried tightening the knob to lock in place without success.Cannot use at all and Amazon 30 day return period has expired so unable to return.Extremely disappointed in quality of this product. Recommend you not purchase this product. Worked great at first but not made to last.

I'm leary of suction cups but once you latch this down it's not moving. Good quality.

I'm not getting any younger, and the kayak is not getting any lighter. This device makes loading much easier since I never need to lift the total weight of the kayak. The photos show loading onto flat kayak racks. I use a J-shaped rack, which works fine to get the kayak onto the SUV.

I have a curved glass rear door and this roller works perfect to easily put my 12 ft kayak on my Escape roof.
