I use these to secure my doors at night. They are very sturdy and hold well. They will at least slow someone down, at most deter them entirely. Easy win when security is found.

We live in a good neighborhood but still feel nervous leaving windows open at night to cool the house down. Previously we'd use old scrap wood and try to find one, but I'd stress about it being too short and somebody being able to stick an arm through. This product is great, it's fully adjustable down to the inch so I can leave a crack about 2 inches wide, too small for someone to stick their arm through and dislodge the pole. Plus one end is forked, this end I usually put around the frame of the window so it's even harder to dislodge.

I'll pick these up to help secure our doors at night. They're simple to set up and fully adjustable so that you can get the right angle. Even though it's inexpensive, it holds up well. Easy to deploy for security. Works exactly as antenna

This door stopper is a fair-quality option, though it is far from being the most robust security bar available. That said, it does offer versatility, as it can double as a security bar for sliding doors and windows. It’s compatible with both door knobs and door levers, which adds to its practicality.I primarily got this in preparation for installing a sliding glass door in my home. While that project is still in the works, I’ve been using the bar on standard doors in the meantime. It’s performing reasonably well in this capacity, though there are a couple of drawbacks worth noting.The first and most significant issue is with the foot at the base of the bar. It has a limited swivel range and doesn’t tilt as much as I would like, which can make it tricky to get the right angle on certain surfaces. The second issue involves height adjustments. The bar is essentially a hollow tube with no guide channel for the adjustment pin, which makes it a bit fiddly to align and secure the pin in place. It’s not a difficult process, but it’s less streamlined than it could be.At the time of review, the price is just over $16, which is very budget-friendly. If you’re not looking for an extremely heavy-duty or ultra-secure bar, this is a decent choice, especially given its added versatility for sliding doors and windows. For those needing something more robust, you’ll likely have to invest in a higher priced product. Overall, I’d recommend it for casual use or as an affordable, multipurpose option.

Love the easy extra security this adds to my home. It works in all my windows, my sliding door and my front and back doors (wow, I need to buy a few more, haha). It’s all in the way it is configured. It adjusts easily. There is no hardware to install, so it would work great for renters. The large base pivots to give you a very secure fit against a door. It is not as secure when used with a door mat, so move the mat aside if you plan to use this.
