this doesn't work as a hair catcher as advertised, only as a stopper. even when in the draining position it just makes water collect like a stopper in the shower. very disappointing.

I have a shower I rarely use, and am concerned about sewer gases entering before I remember to run water in the drain. This works really well for that as I can just 'pop up' the opening to allow water to drain.The other one I use 'as intended' and is pretty neat since it can be used either as a stopper, or as drain/hair filter.Very Neat. Recommended.
