My W50 runs for a long time on this battery and I have no complaints. The only issue is it never shows a charge status greater than 89% in the Windows 10 battery app.

Fit fine and works well. Much better life than the one it replaced, which had gotten to about 1/2 hr. It's what I expected, but pleased anyway.

This battery so far has met all expectations, performance is great, with a working life 4-5 hours.

If your T430 is fully updated, bios, etc. This will not work. 3rd party battery's are blacklisted by Lenovo

Had great battery life at first then it dwindled down to only a couple hours and at about 9 months I get the "genuine lenovo battery not attached" message and the laptop would no longer charge it. I also noticed the battery was swollen. I kept the laptop only in the house and never left it plugged into power. I would full charge and use until low then charge. I properly cycled it the whole 9 months. Now Amazon doesn't show any way to return or contact seller. Not happy.

UPDATE 2: I received my new replacement battery and right from the get go the new battery charges at 30watts instead of 15watts. So maybe the first pack I got was actually bad right from the start. Let's see how the new one holds up.UPDATE after four days of use:It charged and discharged nicely for about four days. I was running Ubuntu, Linux when at some lower percentage the laptop suddenly shut off. The battery was dead since then. I shipped it back for a replacement, today. Replacement through Amazon was rather painless even though I got pin-balled to the manufacturer and then back to Amazon once. But since then everything was fine. New battery arrives in two days. I hope this one doesn't have this issue.To me, it looked like the battery management system turned off. Some research showed, laptop batteries have a fault flag that, once set, is not recoverable. The battery is rather aggressive in setting that flag - I assume due to all the battery fires in recent years. But it shouldn't be set during regular use if the cells are fine. But who knows, I don't know what the state of the individual cells was when it shut off. Let's hope this issue was a one-off Monday production.Original Review:Fits well into a Lenovo Thinkpad W530. Have only done two charge cycles so far. Will update if condition changes from the following over time:Lenovo Diagnostics shows the battery charges at about 15Watts for most of the time up to a total capacity of 85Wh. Less than original but very close to product description.When in Battery Saving setting (my W530 has an I7-3740QM, 16GB of RAM, dual SSD, and a NVidia Quadro K1000M) at full display brightness, constant YouTube video playback at 1080P, the battery lasts exactly 3.5h. That seems very acceptable.Charging seems slow (also about 3.5h) but I don't remember how fast the original battery charges. And I have a 180Watt power supply, which, under the circumstances, seems incredibly excessive. If the battery would charge at 60Watts or so, it might make sense but this laptop is never gonna need 180watts... More testing is needed :)I like that the manufacturer doesn't even bother pretending that this battery is original. No lies here! The battery is obviously aftermarket and maybe that's exactly the reason why it's not a scam. Only time will tell but I'm happy to see that the rest of the product descriptions also seem accurate. I hope it lasts. I would recommend this to a friend for sure!

Bought this battery in Sept 2019. Laptop recognized it, getting 4-5 hrs run time, worked just like IBM battery.April 2020-boot up laptop and get a message that that battery is not supported and won't charge. Try it in another laptop, same message. It still worked, but as the message said, didn't recharge when plugged in. Contacted DTK since still in 1yr warranty. Explained the situation, they verified the error message, and sent me a new one. I had it in 2 days! Replacement is working fine. Nobody's perfect; I give a lot of credit to vendors that stand behind their product
