Sound is so amazing great call but the rubber they use is garbage it ripped in half the first day hunting trying to take the call apart because I got some moisture in the reed

these type of calls are the simplest to master...and some of the most realistic. not nearly as fun as needling a big bull with a diaphram call to get him in bow range. but, like any call, very effective if practiced with correctly. i still prefer the sound of the sceery ace 1, but this call makes a cow sound too. and the ones you have to impress are the animals. duel makes a decent open reed call also, but my issue with open reed calls has always been that while in the thick of the moment when i am focused on the animal and i want to pick up the call and make a specific sound, there are not usually very good reference points on the barrel for you teeth and you risk making a really loud goose hail call at that bull. also, this call has the rubber cover so you dont bite down and pinch your tongue...hey, it happens.
