This stand is a true piece of art. A must have for serious drummers. Match it with the 9000 bass pedal and you’ll never look for anything else

Best hihat money can buy. Super sensitive and made with quality parts. Would buy the 3 leg over two leg - more stability.

I was on the fence after trying a two-legged version of this stand at a local music store. They didn't have the three-legged version. I'm now convinced something was broken on the one I tried at the local music store. This stand is amazing - rugged without being overly heavy, and very sensitive. I've been missing out with my 20+ year-old Iron Cobra (which I loved). Highly adjustable. It's expensive, but it's well worth it considering I'll be using it for at least another 20 years.

As a percussionist that has Zildjian' s older than most of you reading this, I can only say wow. Well built, strong, many adjustment features, and tight, clipped pedal movement; this is one of five(5) hi-hat stands that I own and this is by far the best. Recommended to any serious player or studio.

Awesome sauce. I mean, I'm comparing it to a 300 dollar drum set hi hat stand, but I can do those clean, crisp hi hat barks that I could never do on the cheap hi hat stands.I don't know about all the different hi hat brands as to how to compare or line them up.This thing i super heavy duty. adjustable in more ways that I expected.spring is adjustable. I had to get used to playing with a stronger spring than my cheap set which was just "boingy" and "bouncy" for the most part.

it's tall, it's beautiful, the pedal has a switch to make it stiff or loose, I wouldn't be surprised if I'll never be comfortable on another hi-hat stand again, absolute perfection!

I bought this stand to use with a backline kit. It has the usual DW heavy-duty parts associated with a quality drum maker. It is easy to break down for storage or movement, has repeatedly been thrashed by many drummers since I purchased it, and has never broken down or had any problems. I personally like the heavy-duty chains and the myriad of ways you can set this thing up. Also includes two (short and long) rods for cymbal mounting and adjustment.Nice A++

I owned the two-legged version of the same hi-hat stand, for about a year. It was a complete drag, on gigs. The two-leggers just don't have the stability and reliability of the three-leggers. This is exactly what I needed! It's built DW-tough, so I know it'll last for as long as I need it. There just isn't a better stand!

I recently thought of going back to a signal bass pedal. As you probably know, a double bass pedal limits how close you can get your Hi-hat to your snare and I was getting tired of that limitation. So I pulled the trigger and went with the DW flagship 9000 series single pedal. This thing is a tank and a dream to play on. I also changed my 5000 series 2-leg Hi-hat to the 9000 series 3-leg Hi-hat. Love them both, kind of wish I had made this move years ago.
