It seems to get a little hot. I wouldn’t place charger in a confined space without air flow, but worked as needed to charge LiFePO4 battery. Reasonably priced.

This charger has performed flawlessly for me for over a year now. It has charging modes for lead-acid, AGM, and lithium batteries. It is also a battery maintainer and even has a winter mode.

This works great on my lithum batteries and lead acid. It knows the difference and it auto shuts when the battery has fully charged so I don't worry about over charging.

Charged great ,then it started getting real hot charging then the lcd kept blinking an would work or charge ….good batteries but junk chargers

The charger got very hot when doing the first charge of a discharged battery. I was uncomfortable leaving it on when leaving the house. After a couple days it became fully charged. Then the charger was cool as it was not putting 10 amps into the battery. They warn about the heat in the user guide!!!I wonder how long it will take to charge via the two other charging ports???It comes with big battery charging clips and also a ring lug cable for charging. I like the option!As a side note, the terminals on the top of the battery are live all the time. Could be dangerous and it needs a protective cover for safety.
