I was determined to make my own perfect egg muffin sandwiches at home. I spent as much time researching reviews on this little gadget as I would a high price tag item. I decided to try this one since it was one of the cheaper priced ones. I didn't want to waste too much money if it didn't work. Others have stated that the egg runs out of the ring, I learned that the hard way by using an old warped pan. Many also said the egg stuck to the ring and hard to clean. I bought a better new fry pan and as you can see from my photo, it no longer runs but stays in the ring. I strongly suggest spraying the ring well with cooking spray before cooking each egg, wash and re-spray before you make the next one and be sure to use a flat bottom fry pan. Let the egg cook a bit before removing the ring then flip. This can be a pain but the results are worth the trouble.

I've used the silicone cups for years, they work good but sometimes leak and a bit of eggs stick...these are advertised as stainless non sticking, but the eggs stuck so badly that you need a utensil to remove the egg

Meh, it's ok. Even after brushing olive oil on the inner and bottom part of the ring, egg still sticks. Then you have to cut it with a knife to get the egg off the ring. They should include a round tool, like a biscuit cutter, to push the egg out onto the pan.

I ordered the 2 piece round and square set. Thought I'd try these out to make egg foo young, and they worked perfectly. Before getting these, my egg foo young patties always varied in size and thickness. I wanted to try these to see if I could get a more even and nicer looking patty (I know, I know, who cares?!) I brushed the inside with cooking oil and put a little oil in the pan and voila! There was little to no seepage from the underside of the ring and my patties looked great. Using these rings enable me to move the shrimp and pork around without the patty taking off and spreading everywhere. Glad I got these and will use them for other cooking feats!
