This works fast! It's so much better than trying to grate big blocks of cheese with a manual grater. No more scraped knuckles.I haven't tried it on veggies yet but I imagine it will be just as easy and smooth as it was for cheese.

The electric cheese grater seems to be good quality and works as expected. However, it doesn’t come with any instructions on the different attachments, which is frustrating. It would be more helpful if some guidance was included.

As soon as I unpacked it, I put it to use. To start, there are no instructions and no container to hold the different blades so after you remove them from the individual ziplock baggies ….. they are loose. The suction cups on the bottom really hold. There is on,y one speed. On and off.I started with the slim slice attachments on some Edam cheese. Not a particularly hard cheese but not a cheddar, either. The motor whined when feeding the cheese through the chute and slowed considerably with very little force. The intention in choosing this item over others is for potato harvest season when I want to freeze cuts after curing to save space in the cupboards. If this struggles with Edam, it won’t survive a potato. I wouldn’t recommend it for more than cheddar or Gouda or similar soft cheeses.

This came in a box labeled electric salad maker. Initially I was confused until I opened the box and saw the item. This is the electric cheese grater I ordered. The box made me think I had received the wrong product.This is a beautiful stainless steele color matching my kitchen appliances. It is small and compact making it easy to store. Simple to set up and use.Has a very powerful motor that is also not noisy at all. Quickly shreds blocks of cheese. However, it also makes quick work of vegetables also. You get an easy salad maker machine and electric cheese grater.You no longer have to store bags of shredded cheese you can simply store the blocks of cheese which take up less room. Offered at a reasonable price for a stylish and elegant kitchen appliance. Easy to use and clean.

I saw this electric cheese grater, and I had to decide if I really needed it. I'm so glad that I got it. There is a bit of a learning curve with this grater. If you push too hard, the machine will slow down and make a whining noise. So it took a bit for me to find the sweet spot that kept the cheese going through without slowing down the machine. Once I got to that point it worked quickly, shredding a block in just a few minutes. Since I wasn't sure how each of the attachments would shred, I just picked one and it was a very fine shred. While it wasn't what I expected, it worked nicely.It is a little loud but I can forgive that if it means I don't have to spend time grating cheese. Clean up is a little involved since you have to hand wash it. I would love it more if I could put it in a dishwasher. Overall, it'svery useful and have been using it a lot.
