Non slip tabletop

While I elected to keep this grooming table, had I known of the construction techniques applied to the lift element I would have not ordered it. It appears to be less than substantial with the pivot mount points being sloppy. The retract is also erratic and occasionally fails to fully descend. I have not tried it on either of my Standard Poodles as of yet, but I anticipate that it will function in a necessary fashion for occasional use. It did have some slight damage on one end on a base cross bar, but I straightened this and returned the end cap to its correct position. That is in no way the manufacturers fault. Just rough handling in transit.The parallel arm set up appears adequate for the task and the table top is textured to provide secure footing.All in all, if you are simply looking for a home use table this should work. If you are a professional looking for everyday use I suggest looking elsewhere.I personally cut my Poodles hair as both are rescues that were traumatized prior to coming to us. In addition, avoiding $200 every six weeks for grooming quickly pays for this table, even it I only get a year or two out of it. Notice I cut my Poodles hair, I do not groom them. They look decent, but I will never profess to it being a groomer.In the past we had our Standards professionally groomed. They looked good for about the first week or two then they start to get shaggy. By doing it at home I can keep them less shaggy with a quick clip on a week to ten day basis. That is where this table will shine. Certainly will beat doing them on a regular folding table.I may, after a couple of uses, come back with a revision. Hopefully it will be to up the star rating. Right now the best I can do is three.

Very poor quality ,after 7 months of use hydraulic fluid is leaking out .the top is not that great either broke about a month after I got it I groom pups so I rely on good products, this is not it,stay away from this company

This is a great investment for a groomer it goes all the way down for the edlery dogs and the ones that are heavy to pick up

I really do like the table. The size is great and it rises pretty high. Assembly was simple because the base came assembled. The first base they sent was broken so they sent me a second one and it was good this time. The description says heavy duty but for some larger dogs I think they would break it. Its a little shaky so I wouldnt put a dog over 45 lbs on it and definitely not a dog who pulls and fights the loop. Still a great buy!

I had hoped the tabletop would be just a few inches larger but overall, very satisfied with the product. We have not used it yet. We have an older golden retriever and next week will have a puppy (golden). We've struggled finding a great groomer so I've been doing it myself. It's been backbreaking so this is going to make life much easier for me.
