I picked up this little 3 kW tankless unit to solve an everyday annoyance: the endless wait for hot water at the laundry‑room utility sink. The good news? Three seconds after I open the tap I’m rinsing paint brushes in pleasantly warm water instead of ice melt, and the sleek box barely steals any cabinet real estate. The digital display is bright, the touch panel feels responsive, and once you hang it on the wall you almost forget it’s there. That said, the heater’s appetite for amps is no joke. The listing shows a standard three‑prong plug, but the manual makes it clear it wants a 30‑plus‑amp dedicated circuit. I ended up running 10‑gauge wire to its own breaker—an extra Saturday project and about fifty bucks in parts. If “plug‑and‑play” is your goal, double‑check your panel first or budget for an electrician.Performance‑wise it’s honest about its limits. At my 65 °F incoming water, a slow sink‑friendly flow lands in the 95‑100 °F range—perfect for hand‑washing and scrubbing dishes, but not enough oomph for a steamy shower. The flow meter helps you find that sweet spot; push it too hard and the outlet temp drops fast. Energy‑wise, I like that it only heats when the faucet’s open, so I’m not paying to keep a tank hot all day.A couple of quibbles: the remote works, but only if the cabinet doors are open and you’re pointing it straight at the sensor—great in theory, not so handy in reality. And while the case feels solid, the installation booklet could spend a few more pages walking non‑electricians through the wiring math.Bottom line: if you need instant hot water for a single sink, RV, or out‑of‑the‑way work station and you’re comfortable (or willing to pay) for a dedicated 30 A line, this heater delivers exactly what it promises. Just keep expectations realistic—think “endless warm hand‑washing” rather than “luxury power shower”—and you’ll be as pleased as I am with the upgrade.

... Be sure that you have enough power to operate this little machine because it requires a lot more than I expected it to and for most it'll be a heck of a lot more than most people will easily have available on hand to connect it with. It says 32 amps which is certainly not available in a standard wall plug. So rewiring to a degree is necessary. But the product itself works well once you get it installed. It's not meant for super hot long baths or showers, but for dishwashing and perhaps the occasional hair washing or bathing the baby puppy, it will do the trick without issue. And the quality is unquestionable it is made very well and I'm very pleased with it.

I got this to use in our master bathroom, but so far have not been able to install it because I need to run wiring to where it will be located under our double sinks, and frankly I’m a bit concerned about what sort of current it will require. Although this unit ships with a standard 3-prong plug connector, it may not be adequate to use with my existing circuit, which would require either that I muck around with the master junction box or hire a qualified electrician to run a new line. That’s frustrating, because I’d love to be able to just plug it in, make the appropriate plumbing connections and go.The included manual is just barely helpful in this regard. The installation instructions talk about connecting individual wires to the circuit breaker, but state only that “House circuit and circuit breaker capacity must be well matched as per the rated power of water heater. Installation must be done by professionals.” OK, so I can’t just plug and play… or perhaps I can. But maybe I shouldn’t. The power draw varies depending on the temperature setting used and whether you are on a 110-volt or a 220-volt circuit. It’s all above my pay grade, and frankly probably above that of the average handyman. So if you plan to play if safe, also budget the money for a qualified installer if you are unsure what you’re plugging into.I’m giving this 4 stars because, aside from wiring, it appears to be something the average person could install and the included remote control makes it easy to adjust settings. If my opinion changes once I get this installed, I will revisit this review.
