Brass-Coated Wire Bristles
- With densely packed brass-coated carbon steel wire bristles that are incredibly supple and temperature-resistant, these wheels are strong, durable, and crimped together for strength and durability.
- Wire wheels coated with brass are less likely to damage delicate surfaces since brass is softer than steel. It is safer to use brass in flammable environments because brass does not spark as readily as steel.
Solid Construction

Works well if you use them in a drill. I tried them in a die grinder and the y did not hold up to the higher RPM

This seems to be the perfect set for the occasional users or DIYer. The set includes a wide range of sizes and shapes for most any need. While they would be a little light for heavy, industrial use, they are great for my needs.I used one of the cup shaped brushes in my cordless drill and it worked well to remove dirt, rust, and old paint from parts. Though I have not tried them yet, I look forward to running into the right application to use the smaller brushes to clean out groves or round holes.Overall, I am very satisfied with this tool, especially at the price point.

Note that these are not solid brass wire wheels, but that should be pretty clear given the low price. So once the brass coating wears off, you essentially have a standard wire wheel. Up until you reach that point though, they're a little easier on the materials you're working with. The best thing about this set is the variety of shapes and sizes. The cost per wheel is very low, so it's a great way to have a selection on hand because you never know what you're going to run into. I typically use these for removing rust or corrosion from metal products (clamps, tools, fasteners, etc.) prior to painting or lubricating. That being said, these are not high end wheels, but for general purpose, they're as good as most that are out there.
