This is almost a like for like replica of the Ambitful C-Stand, almost. The Ambitful comes with a sandbag and a much nicer carrying case. The case for this EMart is made of cheap, crinkly sounding plastic, but it does the job if you need one. I don't use them, so it's no bother to me. In the pictures I have the Ambitful on the left and the EMart on the right. I also own a few Mathew's C-stands and can say that these are a bit bigger and bulkier than those. I recently used the Ambitful to fly three video lights above a stage with no problems, so I'm fairly confident that this EMart will hold up just as well. For as much as I like the Ambitful, if I found myself in need of another stand, I'd probably save a little money and go with the EMart.

If you want a short summary, buy this if you absolutely can't spend more than $100 for a c-stand. If you can spend another $60 or so, buy the Impact (B&H house brand) when it goes on sale which it does a lot. I know you can spend even more and buy a Matthews, but for me that doesn't offer much value. There are of course others who won't buy anything else.Anyway, this c-stand is not bad at all. The legs and the stand are pretty stable and built just fine. It offers threaded ends on the extension rod which is quite nice if you want to mount something with a thread. The grip head is meh. The knob is not the most ergonomic. I wish it were heftier and easier on my hand when tightening. The head's two jaws won't stay aligned after you loosen them, so you do have to align them if they spin independently. Not a big deal, but a few stands have little design touches to prevent such things. Opening and closing up the legs is also another area where some manufacturers have better design than this EMART.Overall, it is a kind'a basic c stand. Not flimsy, but just lacks little design details that make some of the more expensive stands easier to use.Oh, it does come with a bag. It is useable, but not strong enough to take any real abuse. It will probably tear after some use. But it is a bag and it comes with a sub-$100 stand. I can't expect the moon for that price.

Not worth it. Pay the extra money and just buy a better c stand. It's a paid to setup.

Sturdy and good quality for the price. Would buy a second if I ever need another c-stand. Could probably fit two stands in the one bag that it comes with which is a plus.

Having been on many commercial video shoots, I realize (as some have stated) that there are higher end C stands, but for my uses, this C stand and boom arm work just fine. It's definitely a pretty substantial piece of gear and it's also easy to assemble. It raises up over ten feet and can support up to 40+ pounds. It does come with a kind of lightweight, crinkly case (which may not last long if you rough it up too much), but it does the job (at least for now) so I'm not complaining.I think EMART put together a pretty good C stand at a reasonable price. I'm glad I have it.

Heavy duty C-stand is truly heavy duty. No cut corners here. It's super strong and built for professional photographers, which I have been for 45 years.I highly recommend this stand and having the boom arm (also built to professional standards) makes this a great product and worth every penny.
