This has a much more convenient design than your classical strutted fold out light stands. This one is light and agile and surprisingly well-made for the money. It’s not premium, but it’s not cheap either the tripod like locking legs give you a lot of flexibility for placement because struts don’t get in the way, and the aluminum tubing is notched so it won’t twist and it is sturdy enough a surprising value for the money and I like the design

This stand is a great value, and very easy to travel with because it folds so compact. But extends to a useable height for common photo/video light needs. This makes a great pairing with speedlights for a grab-and-go kit, though you'll likely want or need an adapter if attaching a speedlight flash. This is the first stand I've owned with this style of non-slip rubber feet. This seems like a smart design choice. For the price, very impressiveand an upgrade frm older generation clunkier and heavier versions that didn't compact don as short or extend much taller.

You can never have enough lightweight travel sticks for your photography or videography needs, so when I saw the JEBUTU Photography Light Stand, I had to snag one for my studio. It comes nicely packed in a carry bag weighing around 1.9lbs in the pack and 1.6lbs on its own. In the bag, you receive the JEBUTU Photo stand, 2x Hex Key Allen Wrenches, and a one-page instruction manual. The feet are rubber and oval shaped in a way that however the stick is placed on the ground, assuming the legs are it sits firmly where you place it. At its lowest point, it stands roughly 18.5" high, and at its highest point at 79". A hook is at the base of the stand between the legs to add weight if necessary to keep the stand from tipping or blowing over.Overall, I'm super impressed with the JEBUTU Photo Stand, especially at the current listed price of 26.58, which I thought was a great deal before I saw the additional discount you can get on it! So, if you're in need of a lightweight travel stick for your photo or video needs, then I'd definitely recommend picking this up!

I'm impressed by the quality and flexible design of this tripod / light stand. It's relatively light, folds down nicely, and above all, it's sturdy, which is the most important feature of any tripod or light stand. This is a much better design than the stands that are often included in cheap lighting sets. While not as sturdy as an expensive C-Stand, this stand is completely portable and completely steady under most circumstances. Since it also has a standard 1/4" 20 screw on top, you can mount almost anything, including a camera or a traditional tripod head. What I like most is the flexibility. You can extend the legs completely flat or several different positions that lock in place.

I needed an adjustable stand for uneven terrain. This unit delivered perfectly. It packages nicely and is very sturdy.

Oh my God, I wish I had found this YEARS ago. This is the best light stand possible for hiking in the mountains for a photoshoot. I only use one light and keep my kit as light as possible. Not only is this lighter than the other light stands I have, it also folds up well, is sturdier on uneven terrain, and just looks cute! I know it's a little vain, but photographers like to look more professional when on the clock. So much better than a generic plain black light stand. The rubber feet are great as well, and you should definitely be able to swap them out for spikes. I have not tried it myself, but I'm confident you can!
