I haven’t used it yet but I am very familiar with light stands. This one appears well made and strong. I have used similar ones, perhaps even the exact model, I am not sure just yet but if this works like those it will be a good purchase. A bit expensive so I took off a star.

These were recommended to me by a cinematographer contact to use with my new Razyr MCS lighting which is quite heavy. I've been very happy with these and also use one for my teleprompter.

I have 3 of these, they are well made and the adjustable leg is perfect for remote locations where the ground is not always level.

I needed a short stand to keep a gimbal on when not in use, and wanted something that was short to it wasn't too top heavy. This thing is super short, super small - easy to throw into a bag or fit in anywhere. It's sturdy and gives you more possibilities for where you can set up lights. What's not to like? 5 stars!

Very good baby stand - reaches about 3m, relatively light and the sliding leg allows it to be placed on uneven terrain and stairs. I use it when c-stands are a bit too heavy to lug.

I own a number of Kupo products for my new studio, and they're all amazing, but this was a surprise. I was shooting on location yesterday and decided I wanted two more of these. So I logged in to Amazon to see which one I ordered, and I just saw that it's a Kupo product. "Of course." This thing doesn't have a huge base, but it extends up as tall as the shortest setting on my other light/backdrop stands, so it compliments them perfectly. I had a speedlight flash + 35" umbrella on it and no problems if the legs were fully extended and positioned well. Plus, I was photographing furniture, so I needed a short stand because nothing was over 3' high. Worth the price, I've had it for 6 mos. and I feel like it will last a loooong time. [...]
