Too many times, I found that my current 6 QT Dutch Oven was just not quite large enough for some recipes and other ad hoc concoctions I was preparing, so when i saw this MINLUFUL Cast Iron 7 Quart Dutch Oven with Lid, I knew I had to order it. While my wife will roll her eyes at me bringing home another kitchen item, she will thank me when she tastes what I prepare in it. The enameled finish inside and out of the pot and lid are beautiful and the bright red outer color adds to the visual appeal. Great for those dishes which have you starting out braising or browning something on the stove top, then moving on and slow cooking the rest of the way in the oven. My mind is racing through the various soups, stews, chowders and even bread recipes that this Dutch Oven will be the vehicle to create them in.

Very heavy-duty this dutch oven weights nearly 14-pounds. Very well made with high quality materials, everything about this dutch oven says quality. This dutch oven is a very practical and useful size and shape for a variety of cooking methods/tasks. Features an excellent heavy enamel coating for true non-stick performance. The heavy cast iron offers exceptional heat distribution for excellent results with a variety of cooking methods. Greats for sauces, stews, soups, roasts, and so much more. I love using this dutch oven to make a large batch of scratch made Spanish rice. So good are the results with this pot that I actually look for additional opportunities to use it. And with proper use and care (hand wash) it should last a lifetime. And not that it matters, but the color is absolutely gorgeous as well. This really is a top quality kitchen accessory that will serve you well for a lifetime.Bottom line, this is an exceptional quality 5-qt. enameled dutch oven.
