- The engine air valve bracket is widely used in almost all LS engines. Suitable for gasoline powered vehicles such as cars, trucks, boats, motorcycles, all terrain vehicles, and UTVs. Not applicable to diesel engines. Please note the 4500PSI mark on the pipeline is not for air working pressure, the working pressure is 30psi less than or equal to P less than or equal to 110psi.
- Suitable for gasoline engines with M14 or M12 spark plugs. The connector of this tool must be installed at the position of the spark plug.
- When replacing valve springs or valve stem seals, compressed air helps to keep the valves closed and pressurize the cylinder to quickly detect the cause of low cylinder pressure (exhaust pipe leakage or throttle valve leakage).
- Pressurize the cylinder to help keep the valve closed with compressed air. So the oil seal of the valve can be replaced without disassembly.
- When the cylinder is in compression stroke. If the engines air tightness is not good enough, you can hear continuous air leakage. Diagnose damaged parts by listening to the leak location.
- Made of rubber tubing and brass joints, it has strong wear resistance, high pressure resistance, and corrosion resistance. It can prevent the air valve from falling into the combustion chamber.

I’ve not used this as intended yet, but ran through the motions of threading it into a head I had lying around, pressurizing the hose, and verifying the valve works. Should work fine when I get around to swapping valve springs on my 5.3.

After changing the air chuck nipple this tool works well to hold cylinder pressure while working on valves. The issue is the included nipple is not a common fitting in the US. The spark plug fitting threaded in nicely and made a good air seal. Photo 3 shows the included nipple on the right and the us standard one that I used on the left. The valve works well and does not leak. There are several models of these for sale at the same price as this one. In the future I would buy a different one with the correct nipple.
