Easy to install, seemed to work well at first. Was on a road trip, driving down the road and the cable failed. Doesn’t seem to be strong enough.

I expected the hoist would not fit properly and be difficult to install, but I was wrong. It fit my 2008 F-250 perfectly and I installed it in about 15 minutes. It’s great to now have my full size spare tucked under the truck, rather than laying in the truck bed.

We had to cut our spare tire down due to not having the "key" that was needed which required us to purchase a new hoist. This hoist was easy for my husband to install himself and works perfectly for much less money than I was finding elsewhere. Very happy with this purchase.

All is good except after some driving the cable did slack a bit and needed re-tightening after a couple hundred miles of driving bumpy roads. Slack was about 2".
