I was hoping these would be tiny sopranino recorders based on the size. They are extremely tiny and extremely cute.However… these aren’t real instruments…there is no thumb hole in the back, it is limited only to a handful of holes in the front which are set extremely close so for an adult you have to basically use half fingers to access the holes.It’s also extremely high pitched and you have to blow pretty hard to get it to hit the pitch notes. (Think of when you have to blow super hard to get an octave higher on a soprano recorder)It’s good that it seems like 1 piece so most likely babies aren’t going to take it apart and swallow small parts, but I’m not sure how useful these things are for attempting to teach or make music.They’re still very cute and even if you just use them as toddler whistles, they’re pretty cute and babies seem to enjoy playing with them.I’d get these again lol.
