OK, you're not gonna charge very fast with this adapter, but as far as that goes a J1772 home charger isn't gonna put out all that much current anyway, so probably the 32A max of this adapter will be just fine for you if you're one of the few who have this GB/T type port on your (made in China, rarely seen in the USA) Battery Electric Vehicle.We happen to have a vehicle like that, but it's not really a car. It's more like a mini-truck, and it does use this GBT port. The charger that came with it was cheap junk and then a prior adapter I had for it broke, and I like this little truck out on our farm. It's better since I put new suspension on it, but I digress...So this adapter works fine and doesn't overheat and takes the input from the J1772 type 1 male just fine and connects to the port on the GBT mini-truck just fine also. Doesn't lock that snugly, but we're talking slop-tolerances here, so, as long as it maintains connection, and it does, it's fine.Not the fault of this adapter - it's well made and sturdy and solid. It's the port on the mini-truck, LOL. It was cheap. Yeah.So, if you have a GBT and need an adapter to get it to charge from J1772, this one's good one, and it's a good value, and I recommend it. I use it. I like it.

Clicks firmly in place and stays connected. no issues with charging at all. Feels solidly constructed, not cheap and hollow like the last one I got

I received this adapter today, it came well packaged and is just what I expected. It works exactly as it should and seem well made. My car LOVES it and you just can't beat the price.Overall, this purchase perfectly matches its description, and I am extremely satisfied with the product. It definitely deserves a five-star rating and I would purchase again!
