The adjustable swing arms on the rack were not stable and would constantly swing out with the just the lightest touch of pressure trying to load my kayak on to it. The arms have a spring loaded ball that is supposed to lock the arms on to the bracket. The plastic bracket doesn’t hold the spring loaded ball in place. If the brackets were sturdier or made if Metal it might stay put. Being the brackets are plastic is not suitable for the intended purpose. In reality I never needed to fold the arms for any reason as soon as I returned home my kayak was put back onto the rack anyway. I bought it based on the price and I got what I paid for.I wouldn’t recommend this particular model. I just purchase a different one to replace this one that’s so much better and solidly built.

These are absolutely terrible. They don't stay still when attempting to place a kayak on them. Spend a bit more money and save yourself time and energy!!!
