We use GRK RSS screws manufactured with Rugged structural screws Climatek coating, which makes these premium screws resistant to salt spray, heat, cold, water, wind, and other harsh elements that normal screws cannot withstand. GRK screws are almost indistinguishable from brass screws, once installed into a surface. Easy to lift kayak or paddleboards in and out. Being on the water and having harsh Michigan winters everything either rots or rust within a year or so. This is really heavy duty, super sturdy. Easy to put together. I recommend putting it together where you want it because it is heavy. I have 4 kayaks on it but still have room for my paddle boards. After having to paint my cabin, all the decks, dock, sheds etc this year I pumped to have something with zero maintenance!
