Would have given these a five star because the watercolor pencils are vivid and bright. It takes very little water for them to change into watercolors too. But it didn't come with a sharpener and the paint brush is junk. Otherwise they would have been perfect.

c'est une version plus économique, car les crayons sont plus minces et le boîtier est en carton. A noter que c'est aussi écrit en petits caractères pour les enfants de 3 ans et plus.

I love my set of faber Castell water colour pencils. I have been coloring with them and they work very well with water. Overall a satisfied customer.

One of the reasons I bought this product was because a pencil sharpener was supposed to be included. There was no pencil sharpener. The lightweight cardboard box the pencils are kept in was ripped so you cannot keep the pencils in the box, so I wish I had ordered one that had a hard case.

Great product, i used to have this when I was younger (gradeschool) and even used it back in college, really great for beginners, learning and even learning the new medium. I got a new box for myself, since i miss these and my old box are missing/runned out of some colors. I got these since I wanted to go back to traditional since I have been doing digital, and dont want to commit to highend materials yet.

These pencils are great! I got them for doll customization for a face-up, but I use them for watercolor painting too. In both projects I was satisfied 100%. They blend pretty easily. I have one other art supply from Faber Castell, (ink liners) and I can say so far I like this brand!

Best value you can get. I had bought very poor quality pencils. But this Fabre Castell water color pencil product rocks. Inside the package it also supplies a. Pencil sharpener which I found better than most of sharpeners I got from other pencil products. It is very reasonably priced and the quality is very decent. Ditch the 120-color set and go for this one. You won’t feel disappointed. The tin box 120-color is 19 times more expensive.

I am a somewhat experienced watercolour hobbyist. I have many other brands of water colour pencils from all price ranges, even dollar store ones lol. I was very surprised and pleased with these water colour pencils. With the amount of colours it comes with I was truly expecting dollar store quality but I was wrong. These perform almost the same as some of my favourite water colour pencils from the original Faber Castell Studio edition and same with the Derwent Professional edition as well.I liked how easy they activate with water, are very easy to blend out and it’s very easy to sheer out if need be or pack on extra colour. There are however one or two colours which almost completely sheer out once water is added but that’s an easy fix by letting it dry and adding another layer. If anything I found these to activate with very little water in comparison to my Faber Castells which was shocking lol.In this review I have included colour swatches so you folks can compare it with the other two brands of water colour pencils I mentioned earlier which I feel these water colour pencils compare to. The top left in the colour swatch chart are the 24pc Faber Castell Studio Edition, the top right are the 24pc Derwent Professionals and all along the bottom portion of the chart are the 48pc Faber Castells that come in a red box (the ones I am reviewing right now lol).I’d say if you’re a vey experienced artist or a commission artist skip these and go for the very higher end stuff but if you’re like me who’s a hobbyist or paints on canvases for your own home decor or gifts for friends then get these. Even if you’re a beginner these will give you enough colours to play around with and you won’t be breaking the bank either. I’d defs recommend these to folks.

I absolutely love these pencils. I was looking for a set of watercolor pencils to start out with and heard nothing but good things about this brand. I gotta say that I 100% agree. The pigment that u get is fantastic. I used them to design a wedding invite and it came out gorgeous. They were easy to use and to layer. I'm currently working on a greeting card that I included a picture of so u get an idea of how vibrant the colors can be. I also felt that the price was very reasonable and manageable for most budgets.

full disclosure: I not a professional artist, it's just an occasional hobby. However, my sister is a professional and she liked these though watercolor is not her favorite medium (she uses oils). That being said, I love these pencils. From my limited experience, they work quite well and I love the variety of colors in this package. The case is quite clever and overall, the whole thing is a joy to use.

Faber-Castell is great when it comes to colored pencils; quality of wood is very good, especially when you sharpen it, won't break or shred. I like their watercolor pencils because it's lighter than the oil based ones - the shades are lighter side, but can be darkened, which I like because of the contrast it can create in a coloring.
