Tape is very sticky. It is decently thick, so works on heavy fabrics well. I wouldn't use it on anything delicate - maybe just small spots to hold before stitching.Plan ahead before use, because if it folds on itself, it will have to be removed and another piece used.I got a wider width thinking I can cut it down if I need to. I will experiment with this around the house and see what other applications are possible.As with all adhesives - be careful with fine finishes and (as stated before) fine fabrics.

I got the roll labeled "2/5in wide" which is a weird measurement and possibly a bad translation? It is actually 10mm or 3/8" wide. I use double sided tape to assemble vinyl bags - where I need pieces to stay together but I can't pin or it is awkward to clip. As compared to other double sided tape I have used for fabric, it is very sticky and on the thicker side. It works really well for felt backed vinyl that I sometimes have trouble getting some other double sided tapes to stick to well enough to peel off the backing. Which, that is another pro - the backing is much easier to remover than some other similar tapes because it is thicker. It holds securely while I am stitching. I try to keep it out of my stitch line to avoid gumming up my needles. It is not a permanent adhesive, but works well enough in a pinch.

I find this double-sided fabric tape very useful indeed. I have used it to shorten my new trousers which were a tad too long. I stuck the hem up to the length that I needed and then hemmed it all around. So much easier than using pins and I do not have to make any blood sacrifices! I have also used small pieces to hold my rugs in place on their slip proof mats. Stuck together, the mat and rug stay put far better. I am also using this under the silverware containers in my kitchen drawers, on top of the liners to prevent the containers from moving around. Fabric tape it might be, but I have found innumerable uses for it. Of course, taking it off requires a bit of effort but I use a mild, natural solvent and it comes off well.

I’ve discovered this ¼” fabric tape to be an invaluable addition to our fabric projects. It adheres exceptionally well to cotton fabrics, and we’ve also successfully used it to construct heavy polyester tote bags. The backing tape easily peels off, and there’s minimal gumming of the needle when sewing through it. The hold is very secure, but it’s best to add stitches instead of relying solely on the adhesive for a hem. The 180 ft roll length, combined with the price, makes it an excellent value for the money.Overall, I highly recommend this tape for fabric projects.

This TEMPORARY tape is excellent for us. We can use it to hold a hem in place for sewing, or in a cosplay emergency box to hold a costume together. It also goes into my performance bag. Anyone in my group who loses a button or hem, or needs a quick adjustment can grab this roll of double sided tape and get stage ready again. This huge roll will be a boon to us for quite a while. Tempting to get several thicknesses, the many ways this tape helps us would increase. It isn't a permanent fix, but it will hold for an evening, a day, or even just for a quick trip to the sewing room. Good stuff.

I use double sided tape in my sewing projects often. I first tested this fabric tape out on my small zip pouches I make. It works great and keeps the fabrics together so that I can sew them without slipping or bunching. I was using regular double sided tape but this is designed specifically for fabric and I can tell the difference. I am very pleased with how much you get as well, most regular rolls are small but this will last me a while. In the pictures I show the inside of my zip pouch where I taped double fold bias tape to the ends for a nicer inside finish. It worked out great! It also fits in the containers that I use to organize my sewing notions too.

I got the 1/2" which is pretty skinny, just the right size for narrow hems. It's pretty sticky and easy to use. It's light enough that you can tear it by hand if you want to. My son's pants are too long, but I'm using this to temporarily hem them. We can let it out when he grows taller to make the pants last longer. The roll is really long so I have a lot left over to use for whatever projects come up.
