The receiver is very easy to set-up and to connect to your equipment. I am using to play music on my phone through an amplifier inside the house, connected to speakers on my deck. The reception is fine, without dropouts all around the deck. I am looking forward to the warm weather to enjoy music and relax outside.Once it is all set-up and connected to the equipment, all you have to do is connect your phone, or any other Bluetooth player, to the receiver, in my case it shows as C36. Of course, you can change the name to something more significant to you. Once is connected, the “bt” on the display will stop blinking; that is your indication that they are connected. One nice feature is the volume control, which incorporates an on-off switch. Also, it comes with all the cables you may need, including RCA, optical, and 3.5mm stereo.I am very satisfied with its performance and features I would recommend this brand if you need a Bluetooth receiver.

Upfront disclosure: I received this item through the Amazon Vine program for review.These little Bluetooth boxes have become a staple for my various hi-fi stereo systems (yes I have several setup at home for difference spaces like the den, garage, living room, etc, and a couple at work too). This one works exactly as expected, connect up the audio output to the stereo, pair it with my phone, tablet, or computer, and stream music. It's pretty simple to use. The screen and control on top are less that ideal in my book, but for the price I am not going to complain since they are both nice to have. Range is about like I would expect. Subject to the usual interference from walls, other electronics, and general house design, it has a range that works like most of these receivers (I think I have 4 or 5 different brands/models at this point and they all have similar ranges). For the price it is a solid little upgrade to an older stereo.

The instructions are so small you cannot read it.We used a magnified glass. The instructions are very vague.. and it does not fit our stereo
